EMAR 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) Application

EMAR 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) Application

To apply for an Initial  Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML), you need to submit the following to MAA-NOR:

  • The completed and signed application form (Form 19), download the template from the link below.
  • Documentation of your completed Basic Training relevant for the category/subcategory you apply for.
  • If applicable, documentation of your EASA – EMAR Differences Training relevant for the military aircraft type rating you apply for.
  • Documentation of your completed Practical Maintenance Experience relevant for the category/subcategory you apply for.
  • Documentation of your completed Military Modules Training (modules 50 – 55).
  • Documentation of your Military Aircraft Type Training relevant for the military aircraft type rating you apply for.
  • Documentation of your Military Aircraft Type On-the-Job Training (OJT) relevant for the military aircraft type rating you apply for.
  • If applicable, documentation of your Military Aircraft Differences Training relevant for the military aircraft type rating you apply for.

To apply for an Amended Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML), you need to submit to

  • MAA-NOR the application (Form 19), download the template from the link below.
  • the documentation relevant for the amendment.

Some amendment examples:

Addition of other categories/subcategories

  • Documentation of your completed Basic Training relevant for the category/subcategory you apply for.
  • If applicable, documentation of your EASA – EMAR Differences Training relevant for the military aircraft type rating you apply for.
  • Documentation of your completed Practical Maintenance Experience relevant for the category/subcategory you apply for.

Addition of completed military modules

  • Documentation of your completed Military Modules Training (modules 50 – 55).

Addition of military aircraft rating

  • Documentation of your Military Aircraft Type Training relevant for the military aircraft type rating you apply for.
  • Documentation of your Military Aircraft Type On-the-Job Training (OJT) relevant for the military aircraft type rating you apply for.
  • If applicable, documentation of your Military Aircraft Differences Training relevant for the military aircraft type rating you apply for.

If you are employed by a maintenance organisation, the application should be routed through your employer.

Please note that applications relating to current or upcoming maintenance contracts (civilian organisation) or assignment (military organisation) will be prioritised.

Send your application and attachments to maml.maa-nor@mil.no.
If you experience problems with sending the email because of the attachments size, split up the application in several emails with the same title, each not exceeding 10MB.
